What things cost in Crete right now
Honest ranges, not quotes — this coast prices by position and season. Each line carries the date it was last checked on the ground, and changes when reality does.
Site and museum tickets were restructured upward across Greece in 2025, and a great many guides still quote the old figures. The archaeological prices below are checked against the culture ministry’s own listing rather than copied from other sites — Phaistos went from €8 to €15, Gortyna from €6 to €10, and Knossos is now €20.

Ministry means the figure is verified automatically against the culture ministry's own listing at odysseus.culture.gr — a script re-reads the source and fails loudly if a published figure has drifted from it. Operator means the venue's own site. Field means somebody stood there and paid it, on the date shown.
Ministry prices last verified 2026-09-08. Nothing here is copied from another guide. Where a figure is a range it is because the real price varies, not because we are hedging.
